Sports Injury Rehabilitation

Sports injury rehabilitation helps athletes and active individuals recover safely from injuries while improving strength, mobility, flexibility, and performance. Treatment plans are tailored to the specific injury, sport, and activity level of each patient.

Therapy may include guided exercises, mobility work, balance training, and movement correction to support a safe return to activity.

How your rehabilitation works

Sports rehab programs vary by individual. Our four-phase approach moves at your pace – protecting the injury first, then systematically rebuilding strength, mobility, and sport-specific performance before clearing you for full return to play.

01

Assessment & pain management

Your first visit is a thorough one-on-one evaluation with Hermi Jara, our licensed physical therapist. We review your injury history, identify movement limitations, and set clear, realistic goals. Early treatment focuses on reducing swelling and pain through manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and guided rest strategies.

02

Mobility & range of motion

Once acute pain is managed, we restore full range of motion to the injured area. Soft tissue work, stretching programs, and joint mobilizations help you move freely again – and address any compensatory patterns that may have developed around the injury site.

03

Strength & neuromuscular training

This is where we rebuild the foundation. Targeted strengthening, balance and proprioception drills, and core stabilization exercises reload the muscles and connective tissue around your injury. Every exercise is progressed carefully to avoid re-injury while steadily increasing load tolerance.

04

Sport-specific return to play

The final phase simulates the demands of your specific sport — agility, power, reaction time, and endurance. We use functional movement testing to confirm readiness and build a maintenance program to reduce re-injury risk once you return to full activity. You leave with a clear plan, not just a discharge summary.
